The basic warranty for 2G Energy cogeneration units is 1.5 years from the date of sale, 1 year from the date of commissioning, or 8,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. There is a possibility of extending these terms.
The warranty covers any failure caused by the fault of the manufacturer due to manufacturing defects or substandard materials.
Warranties include:
- Free repair or replacement of parts (including the cost of spare parts and labor costs) found to be defective by the manufacturer or its authorized service center.
- Compensation for the cost of self-correction of the malfunction, if approved by the official 2G Energy service center.
Warranty obligations are fulfilled subject to full compliance with the regulations for periodic maintenance and operating conditions provided by the manufacturer.
Parts and assemblies replaced under warranty become the property of the official 2G Energy service center.
The warranty does not cover:
- scheduled maintenance, periodic checks and adjustments, as well as filters to be replaced or serviced: oil, air, gas, etc.
- replacement of parts subject to normal wear during the operation of cogeneration plants: candles, gaskets, seals, etc.
- the consequences of repair work or changes to the design carried out without the permission of the official 2G Energy service center;
- failures due to the use of technical fluids, spare parts or additional equipment of non-original production or not approved by the manufacturer;
- other cases not provided for by contractual obligations or legally not formalized by additional warranty obligations, in particular – to compensate for indirect or incidental losses associated with a malfunction and (or) downtime of the equipment during repair.
